If you live caged in and oppressed, then porn becomes an outlet for you. It becomes a power trip, an ego trip, and a love trip all in one. It gives you all the feelings that life won't/can't.

It's not good to fall into this kind of life. Sure the porn feels great but life itself gets worse and less rewarding, less trustworthy, less reassuring.

We are mostly millennials here so we think that we are safe from all the safety hazards that previous generations lived with. But in some ways we are the most flawed generation alive today, the most vulnerable and the most oppressed. This is because our corporations have reached megalithic size and power and they control us. They essentially milk us for all we are worth and they don't care if they drain us or our happiness or contentment in life. Previous generations didn't have such problems because corporations were a lot weaker back then and they couldn't milk us like they do now. Business was more transactional back then. Essential goods being traded. But now we don't buy anything essential from most corporations. It's all about buying status nowadays. This is a dangerous game because status is not to be played around with. It's a volatile substance and if a company is giving you are reckless boost of status like porn does then you are in danger of crashing, hard. You may wake up to find your world is no longer a safe and reliable place, because of your porn addiction.

The solution to that is to become an addict. Not a porn addict or even a coke addict, but simply an addict. There is always something addicting to be found in any conceivable life circumstance, if you are an unbiased addict open to satisfying addiction by any means. I used to have a successful blog and was addicted to watching my awstats hits. Now I don't have a blog and am addicted to hashish. Someday I won't have access to hashish. But I always will be able to satisfy my addiction, of that much I am sure.

You are correct to say that the millennial generation is the most flawed and vulnerable to date. However, it is not corporations that are the source of these problems. Even if we were to live in system without capitalism, the discontent and purposelessness that people feel would not go away.
The source of society's ills is the encroachment of industrial society and the technological progress that followed. Since the millennial generation (and gen z) is exposed to technology more than any other generation, they suffer the most from its effects. Fulfillment (not happiness —as happiness is temporary) is gained through the attainment of a goal that through serious autonomous effort. The vast majority of people are not autonomous in this respect. Opportunities are given to people by society at large (jobs, education, etc.), and the life of any particular individual in the modern world is dictated by policies, regulations, and decisions made by millions of strangers. This is a result of technology and the increased organization of society.

The lack of ability to directly impact things that shape your material life has always been a feature of humanity. Prior to technology and bureaucrats there was weather and predators and mysterious diseases, you could mitigate but not control them. The difference is that now there is no easy way to see your life as a personal journey leading towards death, abstracted from your station in life -- ie. there is no underlying context that makes you feel "in control" in the sense that you can personally learn and grow from your experiences. Now self-conception is based entirely on your position in the material world, leading to extreme desperate clinging on anything that could indicate status and pure terror at the thought of losing status. It goes deeper than simply being addicted to comforts, people become subservient to the martial world even if that leads them to suffer horribly because it has become God in the Christian sense of a judgemental figure who can give you heaven or hell. Heaven is a comfortable life never thinking about death or lack of anything and a total freedom to indulge in emotions, hell is having to struggle in any way. So those who struggle feel obligated to remain mad and unhappy, because deep down they want to contribute to the social order and the social order requires they suffer as a warning to those who don't.
