dust in the wind

you ever think of all the humans in the past that struggled so hard for whatever cause they believed in? and now they're all gone like dust in the wind.

Not really, I guess I'm happy about it though. I mean, why would I want some "cause" that an asshole pointlessly struggled for out of self-important arrogance to last beyond their life? People are self-obsessed, embittered and nasty, if their deeds didn't turn to dust the world would be even more nightmarish than now. And everybody knows that we all die and that everything eventually crumbles, refusing to come to terms with it, or lamenting it at this late stage, is just laughable.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Cute 2D anime girls without a smile on their faces. I watched brilliant kopipe disappear in threads with very few posts. All those moments will be lost in time... like jizz in rain... Time to fap.

Not really. I think that all humans live and die to return to earth. That is the way of life on earth. The fact is that life is normally a struggle and struggling for a cause doesn't make your life easier. Rather than to focus on the fleeting nature of life and the struggle inherent within, I'd rather focus on living a life in which I can sincerely reflect upon when I'm on my deathbed. The song Reminiscing by the Little River Band is what inspired me to decide on this policy.

To be on the safe side you should try sincerely reflecting every day in case you don't get a chance to reflect on a death bed due to sudden murder or transcendence.

Only bad people doing stupid things get murdered or have accidents.
