I come to this site and I think about the posture of most of you and I am sick

I see this post every time I check goatfinger and boy does it make me mad. You don't know me. You probably just say that because YOU have a bad posture.

It's true. I have a hunched back. My dad used to beat me because he thought I was just being a little faggot who couldn't walk like a man, but eventually he realized I'm just an irl troll and just made fun of me instead. Perhaps my neighbors have started folk tales about me to explain why I only go out and night and never have anyone over, but I wouldn't know because I've never spoken to any of them.

Try setting aside two minutes of every hour to correct your posture; it worked for me.

What do you do for that two minutes?

Force my collarbones upward, and imagine the back of my head being pulled vertically - you'll feel your entire spine stretch. Hold this for 20 seconds, and then rest for 10 seconds. Repeat.

What sort of improvement have you seen as a consequence of this routine?
8 Name: Anonymous 2018-05-18 08:51
It fixed my grotesque posture.

20 seconds is exhausting. I had to break at 4 seconds because my heart was pounding out of it's case. But I'll keep at it.

Can you elaborate? Perhaps you could tell us the condition you were in when you started, the rate of improvement, any challenges you faced, and the condition you are in now.

I couldn't keep at it ;(

Changing habits isn't always an easy process. It might take a few weeks to retrain for years of bad habits.

Can you elaborate?
Sure. I wasn't a total abomination, but I always felt my posture was unsightly. So, I modified a routine I found online - and I stuck with it. I'd like to think my posture is much better now; most certainly better than your average programmer. One thing I should mention - I also did toe touches and the marjariasana once a day.
